Stats: 18 weeks, 5 days
Fruit or veggie comparison: bell pepper
Weight gain: At least 2 lb now.
Cravings: peanut butter and milk
Aversions: Chicken nuggets. And my puppy's breath.
Energy/Sleep: I'm finally getting used to sleeping on my side. I mostly wake up on my back, though, which ensures a sore mama. And when I wake up, I'm usually greeted by a gravity-defying little lump in my lower tummy.
Excitement: A little bump came out of nowhere this week! Thankfully, I don't look pregnant from the front.
Excitement, times two: I had been feeling flutters for a while, but baby is rolling around now, and it's strong enough to be felt on the outside. This makes me think that I'm farther along than originally thought. From what I've read the baby shouldn't be moving enough to be felt on the outside, but it's pretty darn obvious from out here! The hubs felt baby move this week. His face was priceless. (It's becoming more real for him now.)
Busted myths: There is no such thing as a "pregnancy glow". Get real - it's sweat. Also, growing boobs are not that great for us naturally small-busted girls. I have went up a couple cup sizes and possibly gotten a little wider too! My bras don't fit and the girls are sore! Definitely ready for that to be over.
